Le mis en cause instruit, a profit\u00e9 de la confiance de sa femme analphab\u00e8te pour s\u2019approprier une somme de huit millions de francs CFA destin\u00e9e \u00e0 un d\u00e9p\u00f4t bancaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon le dossier, la quinquag\u00e9naire avait confi\u00e9 les fonds \u00e0 son mari afin qu\u2019il effectue le versement dans une institution financi\u00e8re. L\u2019homme a plut\u00f4t transf\u00e9r\u00e9 l\u2019argent sur son propre compte, pensant pouvoir dissimuler la man\u0153uvre. La supercherie a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte lorsque la victime, malade, s\u2019est rendue \u00e0 la banque pour retirer une partie de son \u00e9pargne. \u00c0 sa grande surprise, le solde de son compte n\u2019affichait que dix mille francs CFA.Sous le choc, elle a saisi la justice. \u00c0 la barre, l\u2019accus\u00e9 a ni\u00e9 en bloc, pr\u00e9tendant n\u2019avoir jamais re\u00e7u l\u2019argent. Mais les relev\u00e9s bancaires et les d\u00e9clarations du personnel de l\u2019institution financi\u00e8re ont suffi \u00e0 le confondre.Le tribunal l\u2019a reconnu coupable d\u2019abus de confiance et l\u2019a condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 trente-six mois d\u2019emprisonnement ferme, assortis d\u2019une amende de cinq cent mille francs CFA.
